Minimal Differences:
Select two pictures or animations that are different, in one aspect. For instance:
- a man running - a man standing still
- one chair - two chairs
- many trees in a line - many trees in a row.
Download the visuals that you want to use, to your computer, copy-paste them to Powerpoint or some other presentation software.
Use the two visuals in class, to practice:
- Reception: you sign, the learner(s) choose the correct visual, Yes, you can use more than 2 visuals for them to choose from!
- Production: ask a learner to sign what he/she sees in one of the visuals - ask another learner to choose the visual that was described by the learner. If the wrong visual is selected: discuss why.
Work in progress! More visuals coming, soon.
You can use the visuals for free, as teaching materials. You are allowed to adapt the visuals. But you are NOT allowed to sell the visuals!
